Journaling Through the Bible – Week 49 {Link Up}

I am reading and journaling chronologically through the Bible in 2017. Each Sunday I will post one of my journaling pages and thoughts from that week’s reading. I will also have a linky for anyone who would like to participate to share how their Bible reading and journaling is going!

The Reading:

I’m still in the letters. I don’t have much to say about this week’s reading other than that I enjoy the refresher on all of the lessons they contain.

The Journaling:

I love any symbolism with trees so had to choose this picture to color!

Kids, Crunch, and Christ Journal Through The Bible

We had a fairly relaxing start to this week and then had a military ball Friday. I’ve been to quite a few balls and this was one of the most well put together balls I’ve experienced. We didn’t stay too long after dinner since we weren’t sure how the baby would do with me gone for so long but when we walked in the door he was laughing and playing. We had several other activities going on this weekend as well so it was pretty busy.

Next Year:

Last week I shared some of the features I plan to add to this study next year. Make sure you check out that post and be sure to subscribe to my newsletter so you will know when the Facebook group and Pinterest board open up and can get access to them. I want to share one other thing I plan to do in conjunction with my Journaling Through The Bible posts next year: Scripture Writing.

I have three notebooks in which I will be writing any scriptures I find pertaining to certain subjects:
1. Women and marriage.
2. Children, parenting, and behavior.
3. Character qualities, characteristics of God, and feelings.

These are topics I am always looking for a better understanding of and I’m hoping to have related scriptures together in one place will shed new light on them! I will post here the scriptures I find each week. If you would like to join me in writing one, two, or all of these topics I would love for you to share what you find each week in the comments of the posts or in our Facebook group. I’m sure I will miss some so would love to have others searching with me as well!
