I am reading and journaling chronologically through the Bible in 2017. Each Sunday I will post one of my journaling pages and thoughts from that week’s reading. I will also have a linky for anyone who would like to participate to share how their Bible reading and journaling is going!
This week’s reading included Saul/Paul’s conversion. This story dramatically illustrates that nobody is “too bad” to be used by God or too close minded to be reached by Him. Granted He doesn’t appear and blind everyone who rejects Him but nobody is a hopeless case.
This was a simple page. I was going for a globe feel with the lettering in green and the background in blue but the blue didn’t show up well in my photo. I guess I should have made it a bit darker. Of course, I couldn’t let “Good News” blend in so I did it in gold. I really like my metallic gel pens!

Our family is still in the adjustment phase of my husband being home, it is wonderful and so far has been an easier adjustment than in the past-yay! He is starting leave this weekend so we are looking forward to having him to ourselves for a couple of weeks!! Next week will be a busy week for me as I visit our local Operation Christmas Child Drop Offs to help out. This is one of my favorite times of the year and I’m thrilled to be back in the U.S. to participate in it! Make sure you get your shoeboxes packed and delivered to your local drop off this week!
I posted a review on Friday of an amazing book that I feel very strongly will positively impact the lives of every mom! If you are a mom or plan to become one some day I highly encourage you to check out that review and read the book!
I have started working on blog plans for 2018! I have some exciting ideas, changes, and additions planned for this blog that I hope will create a useful resource and community for moms looking to improve in their roles while finding joy and contentment. I’ll be posting information on some of those plans soon so be watching for that or subscribe to my newsletter so you don’t miss anything!
