I am reading and journaling chronologically through the Bible in 2017. Each Sunday I will post one of my journaling pages and thoughts from that week’s reading. I will also have a linky for anyone who would like to participate to share how their Bible reading and journaling is going!
Keeping up with my daily reading was the extent of what I could do this week. I did not have the mental energy to do much pondering on what I was reading. It is weeks like this one I’m super thankful for the One Year Bible keeping me on track and telling me what to read without much effort or planning on my part! Keep scrolling to the update and you will understand why!
I did not get any journaling done this week. I considered trying to rush something out yesterday to post on here today but it didn’t happen and I prefer to journal for the joy of it and not because I need to get something done. I’m still putting this post up even though I don’t have anything to share in hopes that some of you will still link up your beautiful artwork. I love seeing your posts, they are so inspiring to me.
Make sure you check out last week’s link up too!!

Well, I have a confession. I’ve been keeping a secret. I have mentioned before being busy, and tired and occasionally overwhelmed. Well for the last seven months my husband was deployed overseas. This week he returned!! I don’t share on my blog while he is gone for both OPSEC and personal safety reasons but now that he is home I can tell you! This is why my blog has not been quite as active as I’d hoped most of this year. We didn’t know until right before Christmas that he would be leaving and he left in March when the baby was 2 months old. This was our 5th deployment and was definitely a challenge with five kids! I’m hoping that now that he is home (for a bit at least) I can get more of my blog projects accomplished and post more often. That said with National Collection Week and holidays coming up don’t count on that happening until January!!
