I am reading and journaling chronologically through the Bible in 2017. Each Sunday I will post one of my journaling pages and thoughts from that week’s reading. I will also have a linky for anyone who would like to participate to share how their Bible reading and journaling is going!
Back in the prophets this week. One of the things in some of this week’s readings that I always enjoy reading is the rebuilding of the Temple. In the original building of both the Tabernacle and Temple and in the description of rebuilding it I’m always amazed at the level of detail. It is interesting to me that God was interested in the smallest grommet and thread. I also find it interesting that He clearly valued beauty, quality, and workmanship.
I thought this page was fun. I thought about doing some shading around the edges but decided I liked it with just a crisp white background. I am getting more comfortable with using my pens in the lettering and think this one turned out a little better.

I actually had a somewhat calm and relaxing week last week! It was quite refreshing to not always feel behind on something! We celebrated my second child’s birthday this week with a local concert and special meals. She seems to be very pleased with how her birthday turned out so that makes my mom heart happy! This coming week is a little busier but not too overloaded. I’m currently dealing with an attack of allergies (which is part of the reason I’m posting this so late), so just praying that clears up quickly and doesn’t slow me down too much.
