I am reading and journaling chronologically through the Bible in 2017. Each Sunday I will post one of my journaling pages and thoughts from that week’s reading. I will also have a linky for anyone who would like to participate to share how their Bible reading and journaling is going!
This week I had a harder time than normal keeping up with the reading – the baby has been waking up during my normally quiet morning time so I’m once again re-adjusting my schedule. I’m still ready for the New Testament but Lamentations has been different this time through for me. I normally just find it winey but this time I’m noticing an undertone of hope that I hadn’t picked up on before. It is a lovely thing!
My almost-8-year-old daughter wanted to do a page since her sister did one earlier in the year so I let her color this page! She is very excited to share it with you.
What I used for this entry:
Two of my lovely fellow journalers were back last week, I’m so glad to see Peabea’s lovely digital journaling again and Dani’s amazing artwork (I seriously need lessons from her!). Make sure you check those out as well as the links below!

Last week was overall a pretty good week. My kids finally got the hang of the new reward system I implemented for their chores and are actually getting things done without me nagging them! I am starting to get into the swing of my work schedule (and figure out what schedule works for all of us) and I got most of my to-do list done. Now if I find time to blog more that will be awesome! It will come eventually. My focus this week is cleaning and organizing. We have sort of started back to school but I still don’t have our school area organized enough for us to be effective so I will be working on that this week. After that, the focus shifts to getting the baby to sleep ON HIS OWN! Pray for me! It is a hard stage!
