I am reading and journaling chronologically through the Bible in 2017. Each Sunday I will post one of my journaling pages and thoughts from that week’s reading. I will also have a linky for anyone who would like to participate to share how their Bible reading and journaling is going!
I kept up well with the reading this week! I am still getting up before the kids most days (some days they follow me 5 minutes after I get up but I’m still up before them!) and that is helping me to have time to read in the mornings. If I don’t have time to do it before they get up I make a point to get that done the first chance I get and before doing any other tasks.
Well, even though I kept up with my reading this week I didn’t get any actual journaling done. I’m bummed about that but it turned out to be an insanely busy week and I’ve only missed a week of art a few times this year so overall I’m doing pretty good! I hope my Bible Journaling friends have some inspiring art to share this week!!
Make sure you check out the awesome posts on last week’s link up! Dani shared her lovely art and you have to check out her use of a white gel pen! Peabea has a lovely picture and scripture on her Sunday blessings post and Mihaela has a great reminder about making sure our Bibles are well used and well loved!

As I mentioned above it was a crazy busy week! Yes, even more busy than normal!! This week promises to be a tad slower but we will be gearing up to get back into the swing of “school” as my oldest prepares to start the Challenge program in Classical Conversations for the first time in a week. The younger kids have a couple more weeks before they start but I’ve learned from past experience it is best to ease back into a “full” school schedule!
