Journaling Through The Bible – Week 24 {Link Up}

I am reading and journaling chronologically through the Bible in 2017. Each Sunday I will post one of my journaling pages and thoughts from that week’s reading. I will also have a linky for anyone who would like to participate to share how their Bible reading and journaling is going!

The Reading:

This week’s reading was in 2 Chronicles and 2 Kings. Reading about the rise and fall of various kings. Some good kings, some bad kings. I also read about Elija and Elisha – I always love that one!!

The Journaling:

I started out journaling a page about Elija going out in a chariot of fire but I messed it up so did this page instead. It is certainly a great reminder!! I added a few doodles since it was a bit boring and my son helped me pick colors!

Update:

Life is busy as usual! It is taking me longer than I’d hoped to post the updates on our homesteading adventure but I hope to have a post up about that this week. I also have something to share that I’m trying to improve my health struggles so be sure to watch for that! I have one review this week and after that, I will be slowing down on the reviews to only 2-3 a month. I love writing the reviews and hope they are helpful to people but there are so many other things I would like to share and projects I would like to work on in the limited time I have!! Make sure you subscribe to my emails in the sidebar so you don’t miss any posts!!

  1. Reading the Kings seemed like a long time getting through it, and it was the first time I’d ever read their stories. Amazing how so many times they were blessed, messed up, and then God blessed and forgave them again. Such a loving God. 🙂

    • Yes, it seems like the entire Old Testament is really the story of the Israelites messing up, being punished, crying out, and being forgiven over and over and over again. They don’t learn, do they? Then again, do we really?
