I am reading and journaling chronologically through the Bible in 2017. Each Sunday I will post one of my journaling pages and thoughts from that week’s reading. I will also have a linky for anyone who would like to participate to share how their Bible reading and journaling is going!
Reading the Psalms of David this week! I was able to stay mostly caught up although I had to double up one day in the middle of the week. It is lovely to see David’s psalms and gain more insight into his life and his relationship with God. He was indeed a man of great faith.
This was the only coloring page in this week’s reading but it is probably good it was a simple one. Some day (maybe in 20 years!!) I will have time to do my own art. Actually, hopefully sooner than that. I am looking forward to doing the classes on Creating a Masterpiece myself and then applying what I learn to Bible journaling.
My colored pencils keep breaking when I sharpen them (I think maybe the package got crushed at some point) and my kids broke my good sharpener, my micron pens are also starting to run out of ink and the tip of the black one is messed up! It may be time to replenish my supplies! I would also LOVE to find some markers that work well for Bible journaling and get some distressing crayons. If anyone has a marker suggestion please leave it in the comments!!

I’m so thankful that Peabea and Dani linked up last week even though I didn’t have artwork to share myself. I always love seeing what they have to share each week (as well as anyone else who links up)! Make sure you check out their links on last week’s post.

My kids were sick most of this week. It is always something in this crazy, busy life but I wouldn’t change it! We have company coming next week so it will be another slow week for blogging. I do have a review coming up in the middle of the week.
