Everyone knows the adult coloring craze has taken off lately. I will admit I enjoy it as much as the next person. It is a great way to be creative without having too use much brain power. I love to paint but it takes a lot of planning and messy equipment. With coloring I can just grab my Secret Garden coloring book and pencils and color away! It is also easy to do in a few minutes here and there around my children; quick to get out and quick to put up!

I have recently discovered Bible Journaling and I LOVE IT!!! It is like Bible study, coloring, painting and art journaling all in one! And it can be as simple or as complicated as your time, creativity and material allow.

I haven’t been doing it very long but wanted to share some of my favorite resources with you. I’ll share my personal supplies and materials as well as some websites and Facebook groups where you can learn more!

My personal supplies are very simple right now, I have:

This ESV Journaling Bible

When I first got this I thought it was too small to do much in but I’ve been very surprised. It is actually just the right size. Small enough not to feel overwhelming but big enough for plenty of creativity.
